The birthday was fun. The bar wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Some of my friends couldn't make it but others did. I didn't get too drunk and am not hungover today (YAY!). Not much happened to blog about but I had a good time. I also got hit on by some younguns which is definitely a compliment. I always love the look on their faces when they find out my age. I've uploaded the pictures as usual I forgot about the camera and didn't take many pictures.

I think next Friday Miss Phina and I are heading out to Sylvan to celebrate our birthday with the ex-boyfriend (they are still seeing eachother....) and roomate (who I'm still spending time with). Should be another good time.

Miss Phina and I decided since it wasn't raining or even very cold out it would be a great night to walk the Ave. So around 8pm we headed down there. I will not be gaining weight any time soon with all the walking we've been doing. It was a great time as usual. The bouncers outside the bars are getting to know us. We're those girls that do the laps around the Ave. I'm already over boys being stupid. I don't need to worry about boys when I have Miss Phina around.

Edit: Just thought I'd mention tomorrow night Miss Phina and I are celebrating our birthday. Hers is the 3rd and mine is the 9th. We decided to do a birthday thing together and this friday was the best day for the two of us. So we're going out to a bar that has both rock music and top 40 music. It's one bar with two areas so we (and our friends) should enjoy ourselves. I've sent out the texts. She's phoned her invites out. I'm not holding my breath that a lot of people will show up but I'm sure it's going to be a blast. We're heading out tomorrow to find tiara's to wear.

Boys are stupid. That is all.

I got a great email from my sister-in-law today. She sent me the newest pic of my nieces and nephew. It's absolutely adorable.



Last night I had a good time walking the Ave again. We did end up going into a couple of the bars this time although not to drink mostly just to dance. We also ran into a co-worker of mine.

As usual we sat on a bench at the end of the night to watch the drunkies. Unfortunately probably due to the weather it wasn't as entertaining as it usually is. Still, the company I was with made it fun. A weird thing did happen. We were walking (Miss Phina, Co-worker and a couple of co-workers friends) and this chick sorta stared co-worker down. Then as she's walking by she says "Guys name that stood me up is going to haunt you". I'm sure it was co-incidence that the name she said was the guys name but it was creepy weird.

Just as I thought I'm already feeling better about things. I'm still frustrated with the dating scene but not down about it. One of my co-workers reminded me that there are plenty out there. It's just a matter of time before I meet another one that breaks my heart..... lol. I am proud of myself though. I have decided the way I deserve to be treated and I'm not willing to put up with or shrug off anything less.

Very busy week. Good and bad. I'm worried for a friend.... I'm not going to get into the why here it's her business not mine to blab on about. I'm there for her as much as I can be but there is absolutely nothing I can do to change things. It really sucks that I can't do more.

I had a good time on the weekend. From Monday on though my week has sort of been stress after stress. I've been disappointed again in a guy. I'm really tired of dating. At least this time I found out sooner and without my heart being so involved that he isn't the guy for me. I can't say I'm shocked. The other shoe always seems to drop. Tonight though I'm a little down about it. Tomorrow I'm sure I'll already be on my way to being over it. I didn't really get to know this guy that well and didn't spend a lot of time with him so it could have been worse but I'm tired of the 'dating games'.

I had physio for the second time on Tuesday. I really don't know if it's helping my back. I don't feel like it is. I have one more session but since I'm seeing no improvement I don't know if I should bother.

Good news is work is still going well. I still really enjoy the job and am learning more and more about my actual position there. Some days the reports can be a bit boring but it is still much better than my old job. The other good news is I'm feeling better. No more pink eye. No more ear infections. No more throat infection. Hopefully I'll stay that way for a while.

It's been a pretty busy week so far. Haven't had much time to get on the computer. I also still have to upload the pictures from the zoo. I'll get around to it sometime the next couple of days. (Edit: I uploaded the pics) Things are good although there are some minor stresses but other than that it's been a great week. I'm trying to still get to everyones blogs. Even though I rarely comment I am still checking on you guys regularly.

Last night Miss Phina and I walked Whyte Avenue. I probably explained before but Whyte has a bunch of bars on about ten blocks. It's where you start at one and then end the night at another one. We didn't actually go to any of the bars though. We like to grab a coffee or a tea and walk the Ave or sit on a bench. We people watch. We laugh at the drunks and crazies. It was a blast. We had firetrucks pass by with the firemen waving and blowing us kisses. We got a lot of drunks trying to talk to us. We had MANY compliments both from sober guys and drunk guys. It was a great time.

Today we spent the day at the zoo with the boyfriend, roomate and roomates son. I had a blast (except when my ear was bugging me). The son is an absolute cutie. Whenever he couldn't see me he'd ask where I was. When he was in the car he kept repeating my name. I couldn't hear him so Miss Phina got my attention. He was sad that I wasn't going with them. I told him I'd see him tomorrow and he got a HUGE grin on his face. It was so adorable.

Tonight we'll be heading to Sylvan as soon as her show is over. If the weather is nice tomorrow we'll head to the beach. I won't be going in the water much (well at least not dunking my head in) because of the ear infections but I can't wait to lay out on the beach! So far it's been a great weekend.

I uploaded a pic yesterday on flickr with my new red hair. However today I've changed it again. Miss Phina came over with a brighter red bottle of dye so we added that red to my hair. I'm still processing the new color. I think I like it but it's too soon to tell.



Not sure what the plan is for tonight but tomorrow evening we'll be heading out to Sylvan again. It's supposed to be a beautiful weekend.

I had a really nice weekend. Despite being sick. I ended up going out to Sylvan again. We all spent most of the weekend relaxing and watching movies. I was very well taken care of. Due of the ear and throat infections I was/am feeling like absolute crap so Miss phina and the roomate did everything they could to make me feel comfortable. They took very good care of me. I'm sure that the boyfriend (not mine... miss phinas) would have done the same but he was working most of the weekend.

In other news we dyed my hair this weekend. I went back to red. Everyone (including me) loves it. Also as I'm sure some of you have guessed the roomate and I have something going on. We aren't boyfriend/girlfriend. I'm not even sure I'd say we're dating. We are taking things very slow. I'm not sure what if anything will come out of it but I'm enjoying myself while it's going on.

He treats me really good. He calls me beautiful often. He thanked Miss Phina for introducing him to 'the beautiful girl'. He did absolutely everything he could to make me feel better. He went out and got me coffee every morning. He says he loves how I look in the morning (meaning my zombie look). He liked spending time with me even though I was sick and definitely grouchy.

There are a few reasons why I'm not sure this will go any further than it is now. I have to say though after GIAND the roomate is like a breath of fresh air.

This has been a rough week. I haven't spent a full day at work since Monday. After getting pink eye I got a cold. At least I just thought I had a cold. Turns out I also have an ear infection and throat infection. I've got antibiotics, eardrops, throat stuff (nasty stuff I have to gargle) as well as drops for the pink eye. I feel terrible that I haven't been able to work most of the week. I did go in yesterday and today for a bit. I was pretty much sent home both days. I love that my work is so understanding but I feel bad for missing so much time.

Yesterday though I was really glad to have the afternoon off. A friend needed my help. I'm not getting into the details here. It isn't my story to tell. I'm so glad I was able to get her out of a situation. I feel horrible for what she is going through. I'm going to ask you all to send her some luck and if you pray to add her in your prayers. I worry about her.
