I have been a little blah lately. There isn't really any reason for it... I think it's the weather. So close to warm sunny days yet still not there. Nothing too exciting has been going on with me. I've gained a little weight though... not a lot but I'm a little paranoid that I'll keep gaining. I think part of the reason is we haven't been going to the usual place on Saturdays for name that tune so I haven't been dancing as much. Most of my excersize is from that. We still go to name that tune but it's a different place and we tend to sit and socialize more than get up and dance. I was thinking of hitting the gym but I just don't have the time.

Tomorrow is my nieces birthday. She'll be 4. Time goes by so fast. I'll be heading to my brothers to celebrate her birthday tomorrow and after that I'll be heading out to name that tune for a friends birthday. On sunday I work and then will probably be going out after for sunday movie night.

I don't as of yet have any plans for tonight. I work both jobs and so far nothing has been planned for after. I won't mind staying home this evening (if nothing comes up).

Today is one year since I opened this blog and put up my first post. I really didn't think I'd last long with the blogging thing. I have been blogging a lot less the last little while but I'm sure that will change. The sad thing is... this time last year I was looking forward to my trip to California. This year... no trip. Hopefully I'll be able to head out there in fall though.

I haven't really been in the mood for posting lately. I have thoughts in my head I want to blog about the only problem is I can't seem to actually get them all sorted out to write something. Spring is definitely not here yet. In fact looking outside I think it won't be here for a while yet. It started snowing Friday night and ended Saturday night. 24 hours of snow left us with something between 30 and 60 cm (1-2 feet) of snow. Driving was pretty crazy.

I had a good weekend inspite of all the snow though. Friday I hung out with some friends. Sticky and I were the only ones left near the end of the night though and we had a pretty fun time people watching. Since it was St.Patricks day the bar we went to was packed with plenty of drunk people. The table Sticky and I were at became 'the place to be' which was kind of odd since neither Sticky nor I were drunk and we really just sitting there chatting before everyone migrated to us.

Saturday was crazy with the roads and it was my brothers surprise birthday. The parking lot at the place it was at wasn't cleared so my car got stuck both when I pulled into it and when I was leaving. The party was fun. My brother was absolutely shocked.

After that I went to the usual place. Haven't been to that one in a few weeks. I had a great time with plenty of danicing. I've been missing dancing all night so I'm glad I got the chance on Saturday. We stopped at a gas station on the way to drop D and Sticky off and Sticky ran in and came out with flowers for us. He spur of the moment decided the two of us needed to have them. So sweet.

Sunday I worked and then ended up at the usual place for movie Sunday. We watched Undisputed. Good movie. I had a good time visiting with friends... chatting and laughing.

It was exactly the type of weekend I needed after the week I had.

Today is one of those days here at work that I wish I had stayed in bed and slept for instead. There are issues in the shop that have everyone in bad moods. Things for me are ok.. and the stuff going on back there will only slightly effect my job. Not really in a negative way. Just things will change. The mood of everyone though has me feeling stressed as well. The backlash of what happened though seems to be trickling down to hit everyone. I really hope it doesn't hit me any more than it already has.

It is definitely not a pleasant day here at the office. Thankfully it is already half over. I'm really hoping the rest will go by fast and I'll be out of here before I know it.

I've been neglecting my blog. Everything is pretty much the same old shit here. I've been hanging out with friends and having a great time. Life is good... I'm happy. I haven't been getting a lot of sleep but I've had some more down time lately.

I've also gotten better at not getting down when I see exes that I still like. Yeah I still want one or two of them but hey it didn't work before so I need to just move on. I knew all that before but I'd still get sad that things didn't work. Now I am able to remind myself that I shouldn't be sad... there are plenty other guys out there and eventually I will find one that I'll be happy with. If I don't.. or if it takes a while to find him I'm fine again with being single.

I was bored at work the other day so I started doing those online quiz thingies. I did one from tickle that was called 'Classic IQ test'. I was shocked with the result. I've done those tests before and usually get average or just above. On this one I got 133. So high they sent me the free indepth report. Crazy. I'm such a goof I even printed off the little certificate they sent. I bet I couldn't duplicate that result but it's still fun to say 'at one point I got 133'.

So the bet is over. C and I both went out over the weekend. Sticky was out on day one. Turns out we are all going to go for a nice supper instead. It was a lot harder than I even thought it would be. We have asked eachother more than once why we were thinking when we made the bet. None of us can figure out why we thought it was a good idea. It was still fun and I'm sure our evening out will be a blast.

First I need to send out a HUGE congratulations to Joefish for his recent engagement! Good for you!

Today is day two of the bet. So far so good. We've been going through words that are not allowed and words that are allowed since we made the bet. I was under the impression that I couldn't say Freakin, Frikkin or even Flippin. However I found out that I can in fact say those words. I can also still say Jackass and Crap. There are many words that are allowed but it depends on how they are used. An example is Bitch. I am allowed to say the word or even refer to Sticky as my bitch. I am not allowed to use it as an expletive though. So I can't say oh man you are such a bi***.

It is a little easier than I thought however I have a feeling that I won't last the full 40 days. When I do go out it will be a slip up. Like when in a group of people I get really into the conversation or I start ranting about something... that is when I'll let a swear slip out.

I'll be seeing Sticky and probably C tonight so I'll find out how they are doing. Lets hope they have already messed up.
