Update again: Ah fuck. Its done. We lose. We were shut out. Fuck. Heading to the gym now .

Update: Darn. 2-0 now. I think Canada will get silver this time. They don't seem to be playing well enough to get the gold. Too many penalties. (Although the ref seems to be 'looking the other way' when the Czeks do something. Canada is still not playing well enough to win)

Hockey! Watching the gold medal world championship game. Score isn't making me too happy but it isn't too bad yet. (1-0 Czek). I have so missed my hockey!

I've never been much of a hockey fan. I'm wondering something though.

Do you have any comment on the rumors that recent Canadian court rulings on gay marriage are directly related to the testosterone deficiencies caused by the hockey lockout?

LOL nahhh its cuz us Canadians are less closed minded. Many of us also believe that the church and government are separate.

You are not the only one missing hockey. Try living in a country where, even when the season is on, hockey is an afterthought. The only good thing about the canceled season is it opened up ice time for me at my local rink where. My team used to practice there in the mornings but since they haven't been I get to skate quite a bit on my days off.

at least your team is playing for a medal and they are probably even broadcasting it on a regular TV station. A friend of mine signed up for a webcast just to get to watch the US.

Sorry to sound like such a negative person I just really miss watching hockey and being out of town most of the last 2 weeks I haven't played recently either.

Go Canada. (Don't tell anyone I said that)

I was watching it on TSN but it probably was on regular stations as well.

If you've ever been to Edmonton during hockey season you'd see what a crazy hockey town we are. Just about every bar/pub has the game on. Doesn't matter what other sport is on at the same time we are watching hockey.

Its great that they won Silver. Its just. They should have won gold. LOL

Oh yeah and that is one of the reasons I decided I didn't want to move to California. I don't think I could stand my sport being so far from peoples mind. LOL

Uhhh you must have been under a rock Calam. Oh no wait you just live in the states.

Hockey hasn't been on this season. This was the World Hockey Championship. Which is now over.

I know! I know! There was alot of press coverage about the non-existant hockey season. In fact, it got more press here when cancelled than it does for a whole season when they play!

We have to save room for REAL sports here.

*ducks and covers*

Real sport??? What is NOT real about hockey? Hmmm tell me how hitting a ball and running in a circle is any more real than hockey? Hmmmm

Don't even get me started on basketball.

(I won't pick on football because I like it too. Just not as much as hockey)

You wanna say something bad about basketball? Hmmmm??? Okay - set up the ring - we'll fight it out like REAL fans.

LMAO!!

I actually DO like hockey. I also like football. I only like baseball if I can't sleep and need a good dose of mind-numbing boredom. It's right up there with televised golf, imo.

But basketball - THAT'S a good sport. Lots of action, quick-turnarounds, high scoring games. And just because a team is down 30 points at half-time doesn't mean they're out of the running. It's great!

You just stated one of the reasons I can't stand basketball. 'just because a team is down 30 points at half-time doesn't mean they're out of the running.' I can't stand the scoring being so high. I don't mind going to a basketball game but I only get into it because its fun to cheer and be part of the crowd. Not because I actually like the sport. LOL

Cat fights are so fun. :) I just took self defense so I'm tougher than I was. (although Calam could totally take me so I'll avoid fighting her lol)

I love high scoring games. They're much more exciting. Get's the blood going and the heart pumping. Plus, all those sweaty guys out there on the court. Woo hoo! Besides, guys are so much cuter when they have all their teeth.

I could take you?? Only out to dinner, sweetie. I fight like a girl. LOLLOL!

Right... sure. I don't believe ya. What was the karate (it was karate right?) you took all about then?

Oh and as much as I can't stand watching baseball... I LOVE playing it. LOL I also enjoyed going to games with Sar when she'd get free tickets.

I've never taken any martial art. Hubby has. He taught me a few moves, but I'd still put my money on you in a cat fight. :-D

I don't know HOW I got so many visitors. I think its from commenting on others blogs. Also from people that have me linked on their site.

Its totally cool that I've had so many visitors. Although (before I knew how to block my IP) a few of those hits (at least 100) are from me.
