So nice to be able to sleep in! I just got up. I probably would still be sleeping but a couple of my friends called a million times. They want me to go to Star Wars again today (its a holiday for us Canadians so I thankfully am not working today). :) So I am going to be going to the 12:45 show. Luckily they will be there to line up and buy my ticket early. So I have half an hour before I have to be there.

I am so excited! In only 3 days I will be in California! Hopefully this crappy weather we are having here (rain) doesn't follow me. lol

Yay! No rain in the forecast for 7 days. Woo hoo!!!!!

Get ready for some warm weather, though. Forcast for 90's for the next few days. High 80's over the weekend.

*dances*

Ah Califonia. I am jealous of you right about now.

My brother is moving there in September to go to UCLA. The guy is geting paid about 10K less than I make working 60 hours a week to go to school. I can't wait. I am going to fly out, help him move in, rent a car and drive up the coast to San Fran to visit a friend. Hopefully I have enough personal time by then to waste a whole week.

Have fun.

What holiday is it? Victoria Day? I once had customs deny my entry to Ontario on Victoria Day. Apparently they take a negative view of little things like smuggling ostriches.

Yup thats right its Victoria day. Which I think is kind of fitting. Since its a holiday for Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II birthdays and the Queen visited my city today. I didn't go see her. But she was here.

Hmmm are you sure it was the Ostrich that made them stop you? Perhaps it was just you...?

Larry a lot of my friends are jealous of me. All I have to say is :P

I am going to San Fran for a day. I've never been there before and we are going to check out alcratraz. I'm so excited.

San Fran is one of the best places I have ever been. Though, my many travels have never taken me out of the US and I hear Hong Kong and Vancouver are equal if not better as far as cities go.

I actually haven't been to Vancouver many times. I did enjoy it when I was there. I usually judge the place on how much fun I had there. I mean I can appreciate the beauty of a place or the architecture but for me how much I like it has to do with how much fun I had there.

That is usually because of the people I know there (or met there). I think thats why California is one of my favorite places to be. Without the people there I probably wouldn't care one way or the other about it.

I had a lot of fun in San Fran. I have a friend that lives there and we went everywhere. I even ate at a place in the Castro(gay district) called "the sausage factory". My ex-wife and the waitress were the only women in there.

I have relatives in SF. Sadly, even though I'm less than 2 hours away, I seldom go. I HATE the traffic. But the last time I was there, I did get to go to Fisherman's Warf, and have seafood at a nice restaurant on the pier. Soooo nice.
