I'm in a strange mood today. I feel sort of down and yet still in a good mood. How can everything be so simple and seem so overwhelming all at the same time? There really isn't anything going on but I still feel like I need a break. I want to get away. From everything for a while. Just (as Penny suggested to me) go somewhere tropical and lay in the sun on the beach. I want to just free my mind for a while. *sigh* Until I win the lottery though I'm stuck here.

Awwww! I'm sorry you're feeling down. Yes, I do believe a vacation at a tropical getaway is necessary. Just as long as I can join you! ;-)

Dani, I think you should just make the beach come to you. Dump a bunch of sand in your living room, get a sun lamp, and get some guys to be your slaves...er, I mean cabana boys.
Seriously, though, I know how you feel. Even if you can't get away somewhere warm and lovely, maybe a short trip somewhere you've never been might be enough. Good luck, girl!

You know sardi when I think about the beach I ALWAYS picture it like when you and I were on the beach.
Oooh that would be a great idea Gypsy but who would clean it all up after? LOL I don't think I'll be taking a vacation for a while I just don't have enough time off.

Hey hon, if you really need to get away, even for a weekend you can come here. I'll take you to mom land, and we can drink, and pee in sewers, and put our hair in pig tails, and wear peasant skirts with plaid shirts, and chase boys on bikes, and moon people from my screen door and talk about the old days. You know the ones where there were no bills and the only thing we worried about was were our next pack of smokes was comming from and who's parents were away on the weekend.................

We just got out of 8 days out straight rain in NYC. Strange how just a little bit of sun can make it seem as if you're on vacation, expecially when you haven't seen it for over a week. Ah the little things.
Good advice Motherdear. I think my two jobs are driving me nuts really. I think I need to seriously consider getting rid of the part time one.
Its been cold and cloudy here. Winter is definitely around the corner. *sigh*
