I have a dilemma. I am not sure if I should blog about something/someone. I met a guy that I will be going out on a date with. I would like to blog about him however I am not sure if I should. The reason I'm not sure if I should is that this blog is not very anonymous. The user name I use here is a name that I use for most of my online stuff. Including my email. So if I give him my email and he googles my name it will bring him here. The picture makes it obvious that it is my blog. I'm not sure he'd really want to be blogged about. I'm also not sure I'd want him to read what I'd say about him.

There is a good chance that he wouldn't google my name. However should I just take that chance?

My weekend has been good so far. I had a good time out with a friend on Friday evening after work. Saturday was Name that Tune as usual. We won. Dayna got me a shirt while she was in Salt Lake. It says "Tell your boyfriend I said thanks". I wore it and got many compliments on it. I even had a girl offer to pay $40 for it. I didn't take the money since for one it was a gift and two I didn't have another shirt to wear. lol

After the date edit: We were walking to our cars at the end of the date and he asks me to hand him my keys. I do and then ask him why. He says you'll see. We get to my car and he opens my door for me. Wow. Maybe I have actually found myself a gentleman.

Don't post unless you're sure he would'nt be upset about what is said.

I don't think I'd post something that would hurt his feelings. I'm just not sure I want to share all of my feelings with him yet. If that makes sense.

It scares me to mph.

That's awesome that he opened the door for ya!

So it looks like you're gonna give us some tidbits? My pre-edit advice was going to be to let it run it's course, then blog about it.. or if it's going well, that makes it easier to blog about.

Just curious... how much money would it take for you to take off your shirt?

Maybe you should tell this guy that you blog. His reaction could go a long way to determining your next step.

Here's a win-win. Blog about him, create a new email that nothing like this name, he can email you there. Too risky for him to have anything with this name, people google.
Just an idea.

LOL @ the shirt - I have a pink one, and it says "Keep laughing, this is your girlfriend's shirt."

Hope your gentlemen caller turns out to the man of your dreams!

Dani, I'm glad he just opened your door and didn't steal your car. :)

And as far as posting about him, I'd err on the side of caution.

Ah, he opened the door for you. Very nice! He might very well be a keeper.

I think you should go ahead and blog about him...because it's your blog and you do what you want. Right? Right. Besides, it's not like your blog is ALL about him, or anything. And I doubt very much that you would spend time saying bad things about him.

I say, blog away! Bunny the man!

Anonymous: I might know what you say... but who are you? lol

I will share tidbits still. I just don't know how much. I told him I have a blog. He didn't seem concerned. I don't know if he really knows what it is though so I'll probably bring it up again.

I was pretty certain he wouldn't steal my car since I do know where he works lol.

I definitely wouldn't spent time saying bad things about him. I don't like to shit talk people. Here or in person.

I like the idea of giving him another email address but that seems sort of dishonest. Plus the reason for giving him the email address is so we can talk on MSN and since I'm online with my Danikabur account all the time it would be hard to use another one.

Just be honest with him and see what he says. He sounds like a keeper. If he doesn't mind, blog away. If he does mind just tell him when you want to blog something, so he knows. You should be in the clear that way.

*weeping uncontrolably* I thought I was yours. :P
