I miss Sarah quite a lot.

And happy birthday to Dez too, but I'm not sure she knows me that well. Happy Birthday nonetheless!

Yay!!! Happy birthday, one and all!!!
I think we should all eat a piece of cake in honor or Sardi and Dez. And the Space Shuttle's safe return. And, uh, the fact that it's Thursday. And, maybe, because it's August...

CAKE!!!

Hope the table's big enough for the both of us, Dani, cuz that's where I'll be too.

And what the hell's a Carvel cake? Is that like a Dairy Queen cake?

Yes, I think it might be same as a DQ cake, although I've never had one of those...it has some chocolate ice cream on the bottom layer and vanilla ice cream on the top. Between and on the bottom are layers of this chocolate crunchy-cookie-kind of stuff. Then it has this icing that is artificial something, maybe it's supposed to be whipped cream, I don't know. To me, it tastes like frozen candle wax. But Carvel cakes are very big around here. Kal has always loved them. I personally can't stand them. If I'm gonna eat ice cream, it's going to be real ice cream in a bowl or a cone, and it will be peach or French vanilla or Fudge Ripple, not this imitation cheapie stuff trying to pass itself off as a cake. I'm grateful when Kal has a Carvel cake for his birthday, because I know I won't be having any big fattening dessert. And the most ironic thing - Wifeypooh makes the most delicious cake you ever tasted!!!! Silly Kal...

Motherdear, have you ever had Rolo ice cream? Oh man *drool*, it's great. Oh oh oh and so is Turtle ice cream...and this fabulous stuff you can only get at Cows called Moo Crunch that has ripples of fudge, pieces of Skor bar (which I think is kinda like a Heath bar) and chunks of fudge. Duff's sitting on a Cow's cow on her blog picture. Best ice cream EVER.

I'm actually not a very big fan of icecream. I eat it and enjoy it but I can also definitely pass on it. I'm actually not a big dessert person.

Give me chips however and I can eat A LOT. I also don't eat a whole lot of chocolate. I enjoy chocolate but like icecream don't eat it often.

G-string? Who says I wear G-strings? ;)
