Yup - and they try to do it, too. That's the greatest thing about kids. Always trying to please.
It's funny, too, when you tell Munchkin (Kidlet used to do this, too) to cover her mouth when she coughs, even if she doesn't have to cough anymore, she'll do the fake cough and cover her mouth, just so you'll be happy.
Ah - the joy of children. You really really need to experience it. :-P
The thing is the sister in law was serious. She didn't see what was wrong with that statement until I started giggling. She was like ok stop laughing.. I'm an idiot.
I only laughed harder of course. Then mimiced trying to cover my mouth while coughing and throwing my hands in the air.. trying to do both at the same time.
Oh and hell NO I do not need to try it! Thats what nieces and nephews are for. (and kids of friends)
That is so cute. I agree with Callie- you need to experience the joy of children :-)
By the way-
POETRY TAG. YOU'RE IT.
Here's the tag thing: 4 lines, the first and third are "Turd in a punch bowl;" the second and fourth must rhyme, and can be on any topic. Not SO bad, as tags go. Pass along to 3 unsuspecting punch drinkers.
Oh crap. I was hoping to not be tagged. Grrr you know the next time I get tagged with something its going straight to you lawbrat!
if one of the kids in my preschool class coughs and i tell them to cover their mouth, it's practically guaranteed that at least two others will "fake cough" so they have an excuse to cover their mouths, too.
btw, thanks for stopping by my blog.
Yeah.. my niece would cough just to get the attention. lol
