I'm sad to report the Oilers lost. Congrats to you Mystic on your team winning the cup. It was a fun run and I'm very proud of my team for making it as far as they did. Being an eighth seed team making it to game seven of the finals is still quite an accomplishment. As I said before my team always listens to me... it just takes a while... so here is hoping they bring me the cup next year. :)

You cannot say that Oilers didn't put up one great fight. Shook me up when you kept coming back. Great Series but cheer up. The Cup will return to Edmonton...Ward is a home town boy and gets to bring it home with him. I don't think we did bad for a State that has its first hockey team. The Stadium was packed and they never sat down the whole game...Great Fans!

Congrats to Carolina - it was a great game. The Oilers have nothing to be ashamed of.

And there's always next year!

What makes this such a great victory....Is that Oilers were such great opponents. We chatted down here about how the Oilers kept in the fight...they beat us up so bad. Physically Punishing Team. We just had a little more speed and RELENTLESS spirit. NEVER GAVE UP...Even when you pounded us so bad...Lets just enjoy the PUNCH BOWL this year and see what happens next season. It is so funny down here. NO ONE KNOWS THE RULES. What's a Blue Line? Down here if you see a Blue Line, you shoot it..Damn Yankees coming back again.

Well they definitely put up a fight during the series. They did kind of forget how to shoot the puck at the net last night though. One of things that impressed me with Carolina is the fans. How passionate they were. Granted they didn't know much about the rules and shit but they were really into it.

I agree Callie. The Oilers shouldn't be ashamed. They were very much a cinderella team that almost got the ring. :D They barely made it into the playoffs. Amazing that they got so far.

That would be pretty cool if they'd actually loan you the cup. What would you do with it?

I think it would be everyone to Frenchie's for a fondue party.

I almost cried myself to sleep. *sob*

I know that it's been done before, but I'd quickly organize a game of street hockey with the winner receiving the Cup. That'd be awesome.

One of the better series I've seen in a long time.

Penalties killed them in that last game, for sure.

Joe: The players and staff of the winning team each get to take turns having a 'Day with The Cup'. So its been to some very, very interesting places.

Me too tydes. Me too. I haven't taken my flag off my car yet. I think I'll leave it there a while. Show the pride I have for them getting as far as they did.

I don't even know what I'd do with it Joe. Probably just stare at it and caress it. :)

It has seen some interesting places. It was also left behind. lol
