Last night I went out with some friends for supper, a free movie and then drinks after. I had a great time. One of my friends had a couple free passes to Redeye. We got to the theatre and got snacks. When we went into the movie though there was no where to sit. We didn't think ahead enough to realize that instead of us ALL standing there while only a couple of us got snacks we should go save some seats. It was fine though.. we didn't really mind sitting on the floor in the back. Of course the ushers came and told us we'd have to find seats or we'd be kicked out. So we all ended up sitting apart.

The movie was ok. It wasn't what I expected but it wasn't bad.

After the movie we all went out for drinks. The group of people I was with are frickin hilarious. When I say frickin hilarious I mean stomache hurting can't breathe funny. So of course that was a great time.

I talked to my DJman when I got home. He was working. I'm not sure if I mentioned this before but he works at a strip club (as well as name that tune). Its not every day that you are having a normal conversation and then suddenly you hear (in announcer voice) 'aaah yeeah look at her straddling that pole...' I was laughing so hard. Of course he was all concerned about it. He asked me if I minded that he works at a strip club. I find that question funny since I'm a girl that has been to every (minus 1) stip club in the city at least once and most of them more than that. I assured him that I had no problems with it.

He told me to feel free to stop by after I'm off work today (the club he works at is close to my work) so I probably will.

Name that Tune? Is that a club or something?

Glad to here you've had a good time! You seem really cool, Danika, I'll bet you're a hoot to hang out with.

Oh, and the one strip club you've not been to, is there a story behind that? IS it a really nasty place that no self respecting person would visit? Does your mom strip there? (j/k!)

Name that Tune is a game at the lounge I go to. (Well its played at other places too)

The tables that want to play come up with a team name and then they play a clip of a song and the table guesses the artist and title. You get points. They go through all the tables that are playing. There are (usually) three rounds. When the song is guessed they play the whole thing and you get bonus points for dancing during it. (Or doing other things they tell you that you get points to do) At the end of the night they tally up the points and the winning team gets some money towards their bill. It is SO much fun to play.

I've been told I'm a lot of fun to hang out with... I like to think I am fun too. :D

Nope.. no story (although you made me giggle with the question). I just haven't gotten around to going to that one. Its actually supposed to be the classiest one in the city. The one he works at is kind of the scummiest. LOL

Lowk I will be happy to take you two when you guys come visit!!!

Well I don't know about them being the best. I don't like that one the best. I like a different one better.

Thanks Bryan. :)

I think they are the best because you tend to get away with the most.. the standards are usually so low.

Suddenly I don't feel very good about this guy. Next time you talk to him at the strip club, you need to bring Mark and me with to protect you.

Larry ~ Exactly what I was implying :D

81vaginas ~ Yup I did go and it turns out they have renovated since I was there last and its not that scummy anymore.

mph ~ Well since he hasn't 'come home' to me yet I really can't tell ya. He smelled fine last night though lol lol

mark ~ Hmm that could very well be true.

Digi ~ Well come on over and I'll take you with me. Of course I think he'll have no problem 'protecting' me if its needed. lol

motherdear ~ We saw Redeye. It was ok. Nothing great. On Sunday (in case I didn't mention) I saw Wedding Crashers with DJman. That one was frickin hilarious.

I didn't watch the Sopranos so I'm not sure.

Gordy ~ They serve alcohol and the girls take it all off. Most bars also have private lap dances available.

Justin ~ lol

I would just rent it. It wasn't bad... however I am glad I didn't pay to see it. Its really short too. An hour and 15 minutes (I think) which is a good thing.. it would have sucked if they dragged it out.

Welcome Danielle.
