I had a very good weekend. My Dad already got out of the hospital on Friday. He was supposed to be there for six days but he is doing so good he got out in two.
I went out friday night and ended up getting home around 4am. Saturday I went out for dinner with some friends to celebrate J's 30th birthday. Headed to Bo's after. I had a blast. I was reminded why I'm better off without Dillon. In the beginning of the night talking and joking with him had me a little sad again that it didn't work. By the end of the night though the way he was acting and some things he said had me happy that I'm no longer with him.
Sunday I worked and then relaxed in the evening.
Today is a holiday for us Albertans. It's 'family day'. No work for me and now I'm off to watch the womens hockey team win gold.

"Family Day?" I'm so jealous. It's "President's Day" here, which means you've got the day off only if you work for the gub'ment.

Actually, today is now Tuesday, but I'm still home because Munchkin is once again sick. Bleh. Must take her to doctor.

Glad your father seems to be doing well, thats some weight off of your shoulders I'm sure.
Hooray for made up holidays!! 'Family Day' is a wonderful excuse to not have to go to work.
