Oilers advance to the second round. We'll either be playing San Jose or Calgary. I would love to see a battle of Alberta but at the same time I really don't want to see Calgary beat us. Not that I think they for sure would... just if they did it would not be a good thing. However I do think we have a better chance of beating the Flames than we to of beating the Sharks. San Jose is the team I think will be in the cup final. As much as I hope my team is there realistically I think it'll be San Jose. Of course I'd rather be knocked out of the playoffs by the team that actually takes the cup. I can only imagine how crazy this city would go in a battle of Alberta though. The whole province would stop on game days.

Go OIL! I have a new favorite team for the playoffs. Any team that can put it to the Wings that way is alright with me.

I had a sales guy from Detroit call today. He was all I bet you guys are celebrating the defeat of my team there. I was like oh YEAH it's been a huge party here. Insane Oilers fans everywhere. You should see it. He was like yeah we were crying here in detroit. LOL
Cheer with me against the Flames (if they beat the Ducks tonigh... which is likely to happen). Don't go to the dark side where Penny and Mossy reside. Stinkin Flames fans :P

I will be able to handle being knocked out in the second round (if we are actually knocked out) much better now that it won't be Calgary that did it.
I've already seen a bunch of wagon jumpers frantically running to the Oiler one. Ahhh how quickly they fall off.
It is a blast. Last game was just crazy... with us being behind for most of it and the emotion when we came back... crazy.
Too bad Winnipeg doesn't have a team anymore... I had heard they were (possibly) getting another one... did you hear anything about that or what happened with that idea?
Too bad, I'm not following the NHL playoffs...
Boston used to have a major league team, but now we're just a farm team trading our veterans to cup contenders (Bourque, Thornton, Samsonov...) (Grrr.....)
Yeah... have to remember to thank the Bruins for Samsonov. Of course if(when) Thornton shows up for San Jose I'll be cursing the Bruins for that. LOL
I thought football season was over?
Yeah, I fucking freaked out when the Oil won the series. I ended up injuring myself. Kick ass!
