A while back (March I think) I mentioned that my boss and a bunch of co-workers were planning a trip to Mexico. The tickets were bought. My boss was going for two weeks and the rest were going for a week. Boss was supposed to leave on Friday. The travel agency called and started changing things. Due to that and the fact that a Hurricane is headed that way and would probably hit during their time there they all agreed to cancel the trip.

I was looking forward to 2 weeks without the boss and 1 week with only one other person working. That would have been so nice... *sigh*

They're not going at all? Can't they like find someplace else to go?

Sorry to hear that!

Some of them decided they could use the money for other stuff so they don't want to go anywhere else.

The others were looking into going elsewhere but for one reason or another its not going to work out.

That sucks! There is nothing worse than being excited about something, just to have it cancelled. Especially when it involves work freedom for 2 weeks!!

Sorry for your loss.

There's nothing like a planned-for vacation from the boss. Its the next best thing to actually getting your own vacation. *g*

YAY HOCKEY! It is officially on for the fall. I am now anxious to see how my Blues lineup comes together. Go BLUES!

We have 3 key guys and a goalie for sure as well as a few role player types under contract. I hope the front office makes a huge effort to keep the prick who is vital to our team that goes by the name Chris Pronger.

Yay (yawn) hockey's back.

There goes my Saturday night. I'm gonna have to think of a way to grab Mossy's attention from the game.

We know a couple with a unique way of keeping both parties entertained during hockey, don't we, Penny?

Hockey's not back yet.

THey have only agreed "In principle". These gyus piss me off. Agree or don't agree. I don't need this "Eell, we pretty much agree, kinda sorta" crap.

I think they just want to be very careful that they don't make any mistakes before it is signed. Once it is signed there is no going back but until then anyone could back out.
